Kono Authentic Refund and Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with Kono Authentic. Each leather product is handcrafted in Johannesburg with care and quality. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and we strive to make returns as straightforward as possible.

1. Return and Refund Eligibility

Our policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in original packaging.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required for processing returns.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Sale items and gift cards cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Custom or personalized products may only be returned if they arrive damaged or defective.
2. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at info@konoauthentic.co.za with your order number and reason for the return.
  2. Our customer service team will provide instructions and the return address.

Please note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. To ensure we receive your return, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

Return Address: Kono Authentic – Shipping address will be sent via email.

3. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • We will send an email to confirm receipt and notify you of the refund approval or rejection.
  • If approved, a refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Late or Missing Refunds: If you have not received a refund after 10 business days:

  1. Check your bank account and credit card provider, as processing times vary.
  2. Contact your bank if needed.
  3. If you have followed these steps and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at info@konoauthentic.co.za.
4. Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. For exchanges:

  1. Email info@konoauthentic.co.za with your order details and description of the issue.
  2. If approved, we will arrange for the item to be returned and send a replacement.
5. Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items cannot be refunded.

6. Shipping Costs
  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for covering shipping costs on returned items, and shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If you are shipping items valued over R500, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance to ensure safe delivery.
